KIDS AT THE HUNT LIBRARY
The children’s section at the David M. Hunt Library holds more than 6,500 books, 250 movies and 60 audio books for children ages birth to 13. New items are added to the collection every month. With toys, games and puzzles for all ages the children’s room is a great place to vist.
PROGRAMS
We promote early literacy with our twice weekly Story Time programs. The Hunt runs an interactive story time for children ages birth to five on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:30 am which includes stories and songs.
Children ages 5 and up may sign up for the Hunt’s popular summer reading program. Kids receive points for every twenty minutes they read and can redeem their points for prizes. During the months of July and August the Hunt offers numerous programs for kids of all ages, ranging from STEAM activities to programs with local artists to parent/child book groups. Details of summer programming can be found on our calendar or by following the link below.
