
Short Story Workshop with Author Shelley Costa

On Friday, March 24th from 3-5 pm, the David M. Hunt Library in Falls Village will host Crafting the Short Story with Shelley Costa, a writer of crime and mystery novels. Appropriate for both novice and seasoned writers, this workshop will cover basic short story elements including what makes a good story, what makes a character worth writing about, and how to transform your story idea into an actual plot. SHELLEY COSTA’s work has been nominated for the Edgar Awards and the Agatha Awards, and has received an Honorable Mention for The Pushcart Prize. In addition to her mystery novels, she is the author of crime stories appearing in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine and several anthologies.
