On Tuesday, September 12th at 4 pm the David M. Hunt Library will host a presentation on  “Rosie the Riveter” in partnership with the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History. ” Rosie the Riveter” became an iconic symbol of working women during World War II. What was it really like for them? We’ll look at propaganda posters, art, music, photos, and hear real-life accounts of Connecticut women who worked for victory in the war.
