On Wednesday, May 19 at 6:30PM, the David M. Hunt Library in Falls Village, Connecticut, will host Tom Scott of the Falls Village Flower Farm in a Zoom presentation on Spring Planting. The perennial grower will highlight the best plants available for gardens in the Litchfield Hills, Berkshires, and the Hudson Valley, hardiness zone 5b. He will talk about what he grows at the nursery, how best to get a garden going, and he will also answer questions. The Falls Village Flower Farm was established in 1997. Starting with an original thousand square feet of growing area, the nursery currently occupies 27,000 square feet, growing a wide variety of perennials outside and without the use of a greenhouse.
