The David M. Hunt Library in Falls Village will host its annual Hunt Homegrown Plant Sale on the weekend of May 18 and 19 from 9am to 2pm both days. Falls Village’s own growers, gardeners, and CSAs will provide a wide variety of vegetable plants including all sorts of tomatoes plus annuals, perennials, and house plants. As volunteer organizer Ruth Giumarro likes to say, “gardening is cheaper than therapy and you get tomatoes!” There will be a Plant Sale Café on Saturday morning featuring fresh coffee and delicious bites. Also, on hand will be a selection of gardening books as well as planting pottery by Joey Jablonski of Funkware Pottery. All proceeds will benefit the library. David M. Hunt Library is located at 63 Main Street in Falls Village, CT.
