July 6th – Thursday, 1pm-2:30pm – NEW! GREAT MOUNTAIN FOREST, 1st of 4 Thursdays. Students in grades 3-6 are invited to Great Mountain Forest from 1-2:30 pm on four Thursdays in July to get outside and learn about the natural environment. Topics will include tree and plant identification, wildlife signs, soils, unique natural communities, stream ecosystems, and land use history. Educators for this program will consist of GMF staff and student interns from regional natural resource Universities.
