Visitors on this intimate garden tour will have the opportunity to walk with accomplished garden writer and passionate gardener Page Dickey through her property in Falls Village, CT. Page will guide guests through her front perennial garden, patterned cutting garden, pool garden featuring roses and hydrangeas, and gravel terraces, and also learn about her favorite plants and their care. Visitors will then accompany Page along a path in the flowering meadow and on to the high rocky woods, where a trail reveals a vernal pool and cliffs. At the end of the walk, visitors will gather with Page for wine and hors d’ouevres around the pool.
This intimate tour will be limited to 12 guests. Good walking shoes are essential. Each visitor will also receive a signed copy of Page’s latest book, Uprooted: A Gardener Reflects on Beginning Again.
