March 11, 18, 25 – 1PM to 2:30PM, $75 fee for three sessions

The David M. Hunt Library in Falls Village, CT will host three consecutive Saturday  afternoon workshops in watercolor and colored pencil with artist Collette Hurst on March 11, 18, and 25 from 1PM to 2:30PM.  Students will create colorful, textured paintings of natural subjects in watercolor with colored pencil accents.  Students of all levels are welcome.  Bring a simple watercolor set and colored pencils, 9×12 acid-free watercolor pad, a  drawing pencil and eraser.  Also bring a photograph of a natural subject you’d like to paint–birds, butterflies, flowers, etc.  A fee of $75 covers all three sessions and is payable to the instructor, Collette Hurst.  The class is limited to 10 people; to register, please call the library at 860-824-7424.  David M.
