The David M. Hunt Library and the Falls Village Canaan Historical Society will host a cemetery tour in Falls Village on Saturday, October 28th from 10 am to noon. This year’s tour will explore the town’s cemeteries on Under Mountain Road; Lower City and Haskin’s Cemetery, with a focus on veterans of the Civil, Revolutionary and French and Indian wars. Volunteers from the Historical Society will be stationed throughout the cemeteries to share life stories of the people buried there. The rain date for this event will be October 29th from 10 am to noon. This event has a $10 suggested donation, which will support both organizations.
