Join us on Sunday, August 15, 4-6PM to celebrate the David M. Hunt Library and all it does for the community!
In place of its annual Fall auction, the library will host Augustfest in the Village on Sunday August 15, from 4 to 6PM. Held outdoors on the library’s shady lawn, the event will feature brats from Nodines, craft beers from Great Falls Brewery, hot pretzels from The Falls Village Inn, a silent auction, and live music by Kane Clawson and Carl Jenter with Country Jam performing songs by Patsy Cline and others. A vegetarian option and lemonade will also be served, and each guest will receive a limited-edition Hunt Library cup.
Silent auction items include a CSA share from Adamah, a stay at a NYC apartment near Lincoln Center, restaurant gift certificates, a George Reeves handmade leather purse, and a challah cooking class with Rita Delgado.
This will be the library’s first social event fundraiser in over a year and is the perfect open-air occasion to get out and catch up with your Falls Village community neighbors and friends.
Tickets are $30; $5 for children under 12, and can be purchased by calling the library at 860-824-7424, by clicking the link below or by stopping by the Library at 63 Main Street in Falls Village.
